Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote, use the package builder or fill in the offer form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, property address, what you would like lit, your house size, your preferred timing, how you heard about us, and whether you agreed to receive text messages. We also record which page the request came from, and, if you scanned a QR code on a yard sign or door hanger, which printed piece it was.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website.
How we use it
To contact you about your quote; to schedule the walk-through, installation, service calls and takedown; to keep a record of your installation for the next season; and to apply any offer you qualify for. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who handles it for us
A few service providers process your information only so we can run the business: our website host and form processor (Netlify), our customer management system (HighLevel), our phone and text messaging provider (Talkroute), and an internal alert channel (Telegram) that notifies our team of new requests. They may not use it for their own purposes.
Text messages
If you tick the box to receive text messages, you agree that Luma Christmas Lighting may text you at the number you gave about your quote, scheduling and service. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging providers that deliver our texts.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It keeps two small values in your browser so the offer window does not keep reappearing after you close it or send a request. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax and record-keeping obligations. Ask us and we will delete anything we are not required to keep.
Your choices
Email hello@lumachristmaslighting.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages.
Security
Forms on this site are sent over an encrypted connection, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
